The first Lockington, an Irishman, George Lockington arrived in Fiji with his brother. He married Leniaro, a woman from New Hebrides, bought land in Kadavu and settled in Fiji.
Daniel Lockington was the youngest of George's (1st) kids. He was married twice, first to Raditini Avakau, a Fijian Chieftess from Navua and then to Frances Elizabeth Johns. Daniel's children are as follows:
